The eighteenth-century home has a rich history - it stands on what was once the border between the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, the Papal States, and a smuggling area. Notable historic features include frescoes, painted vaults, a majestic, traditional entrance hall, and an array of authentic antique decor. In fact, all furnishings are the result of careful research by the owners, and the basement workshop holds hundreds of pieces of antique decor currently undergoing restoration. 

The grounds also boast sprawling greenery and a pool, so don't forget your swimsuit!

Please note that while we will have optional activities offered, guests are also free to schedule day trips to nearby Florence or Perugia, explore local Lake Trasimeno, or otherwise ensure their own version of a fun and memorable stay.
